VISIT OF THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF THE AFRICA SCOUT CENTRE AND VICE CHAIRMAN FOR THE AFRICA SCOUT COMMITTEE.

The Regional Director of the Africa Support Centre of the World Scout Bureau, Frederic Tutu Kama-Kama and the Vice Chairman of the Africa Scout Committee, Armand Hughes Bartholomew Djeigo, arrived in Accra for a three-day official visit to Ghana. They were met on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport by the Chief Commissioner of the Ghana Scout Association, Louis Anopong Okyere, Deputy Chief Commissioner, Hilary Awusie and International Commissioner, Seth Eyiah.


The two scout leaders on Sunday 15th October, 2023 addressed a durbar of scouts at the Baden Powell Centenary Hall in Accra. Prior to that they held a closed-door meeting with the entire leadership of the Scout Association at the conference room of the National Headquarters. Mr. Kama-Kama who considers Ghana as his second home on Monday, together with Mr. Djeigo, paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Usif at his office at the Ministry. The two scout leaders visited two schools which includes morning star and happy kids school. The visit to Ghana was the last leg of their three nation Africa tour which took them to Ethiopia and Nigeria.
