Basic First Aid Training for Cub Scouts

The Northern Regional Scout Council in collaboration with the Ghana Ambulance Service, organized basic first aid training for its cub scouts. This activity brought together about fifty (50) cub scouts who were taken through various sessions including the background and history behind first aid, the need for and importance of first aid, when and where first aid is necessary as well as some practical training sessions on how to give CPR, dress a wound, manage a sprain etc. They concluded by showing the scouts how to use some of their gadgets and shared some motivations with them to work hard as scouts so that they can contribute to the development of their country in the not-so-distant future.
