SCOUTS AGAINST MALARIA PROJECT
In partnership with UK Scouts, the Ghana Scout Association participated in a malaria prevention initiative called “Scouts Against Malaria.” On February 22, 2024, Over 200 treated mosquito nets were distributed to the residents of Agblekpui community in the Volta Region as part of Founders Day celebrations. Women and children of the community were taken through the proper usage of mosquitoes nets and the need to use mosquito nets. This was a continuous effort by the Association to assist in the combating the spread of malaria and protect vulnerable populations from mosquito-borne diseases.
