
NATIONAL YOUTH ADVISORS FORUM
As part of the strengthening the role of the youth, the Ghana Scout Association held its second National Youth Advisors Forum on the February 24, 2024, at the Baden Powell Hall in Accra. The forum served as a highly esteemed platform aimed at fostering constructive dialogue and collaboration among the vibrant youth community, addressing critical issues, and shaping impactful solutions for a brighter future. A total of 24 youth participants, with three representatives each from the regions (Ashanti, Bono, Bono East, Northern, Western, Greater Accra, Upper West, and Volta), attended the forum. During the event, participants were guided through essential topics such as the Ghana Scout Association (GSA) youth policy, the Constitution, POR (Policy, Organization, and Rules), the GSA structure, and the decision-making processes. Additionally, the forum culminated in the election of six members to serve on the Youth Advisors Committee.
