The Ashanti Regional Scout Council embarked on a five-day exchange programme with the University Scout of Lome, which was held from Friday 5th August to Tuesday 10th August, 2021 at Aneho, Togo.

The five-day camping was organised by the District Commissioner, Benjamin K. Seyo, and Chef Sidione together with the University Scout of Lome.

Five (5) scouts from the Ashanti Regional Scout Council led by the Regional Commissioner, Benjamin Alhassan Akasui, travelled to Togo and participated in the five days camping. A total number of forty (40) scouts participated in the event.

As part of the activities, scouts visited the Maison des Enslaves/ Woodhouse, Sacre Coeur de Jesus d’ Adjido and Togovile with the aim of exploring the history of Togo. The scouts also engaged in a tree planting exercise by planting coconut seedlings along the seashore.
